About the Moderator - Scarlett Letter

Scarlett Letter has been dazzling the world since 2004 and stunning them even longer. A long time fixture of the Los Angeles Burlesque scene, Scarlett has graced stages across North America and Europe and has won several awards along the way. Also a costumer and producer, Scarlett is known for a dark cold beauty reminiscent of Hollywood Noir and the classic Hitchock heroine.

About the Panelist - Roxy Stardust

Described as "Explosively Gallus" and dubbed the” Powerhouse of Scottish Burlesque," Roxy Stardust has been dancing to the tune of her own bagpipe since birth.  She has performed throughout the UK, Europe and has toured the US multiple times. She has shared a bill with some of the world's premier performers and delighted audience members both at home and internationally.

Roxy is a pioneer of the neo-burlesque scene in Scotland. She is recognised globally as one of the top producers of Scottish burlesque and cabaret and is a contributor on the BBC Social creating content about burlesque.  She produces many shows including the "Glasgow Festival of Burlesque" and has played a vital role in the revival of burlesque throughout Scotland.  She is a frequent and popular host at the Edinburgh Fringe and  and produces Scotland’s only monthly burlesque dedicated showcase. This has her a solid reputations as Scotland's very own "GlasVegas Showgirl." 

​She’s  formally trained singer, actress and an experienced compere experienced at handling the even most raucous of crowds with her usual Glaswegian tact… or perhaps lack of….who holds a First BA (Hons) degree in musical theatre and is studying toward her MA Musical Theatre.  She  can often also be found performing as her Drag King alter ego “Rodeo McGregor” or as her sassy grandmother “Granny Stardust” both of whom have many acts of there own!

About the Panelist - Tapitha Kix

Tapitha Kix is a founding member and producer of the Baltimore-based Troupe, Twisted Knickers. In addition to Burlesque, she is a member of the Part II Dance company, performing traditional tap and jazz dance. She fuses her classical dance background with her acts. Tapitha is also the only known Burlesque dancer since the 1940s to perform in a pair of specially-made ballet pointe shoes equipped with taps. Her “pointe/tap” routines combine traditional ballet, Broadway-style tap dancing, and old-school bump and grind Burlesque to create a truly unique performance.
