Telling the Right Story: How to Write an Unforgettable Burlesque Number
So, you’ve got this great idea or you’ve found the song you absolutely must dance to. How do you go about putting together an impactful story? Don’t miss the mark, leave out a beat, or turn your number into a cute — but confusing — inside joke. In this session, we’ll discuss methods for mapping out a dance that tells the story you mean to tell, from props, to costumes, to music, to dance. Come armed with your great ideas so you can leave this session with a map for writing your next big signature number.
