Floor The Audience: Taking your stage presence to another level
It's time to get down - on the floor, that is! We'll be learning transitions to and from the ground, flexibility cheats, and floor moves to wow the crowd. Whether you’re an absolute beginner or trying to hone your skills, this class will add some more bump to your floor grind.
All levels, genders, and body types welcome.
Heels recommended but not required.
Students should wear clothes that they can move in.
MovementAbout the Teacher - Margo Mayhem
Coming in hot from New York City, Margo Mayhem has won the hearts and naughty parts of audiences all across the country, most recently being featured in the New York Times. In styles from classic to chaotic, this little firecracker will keep you on your toes as she twirls on hers. She’s the winner of the Best Neo Burlesque award at the Oregon Burlesque festival and -- alongside partner Samson Night -- "Best Group" at the Arizona Burlesque festival, and "Best Small Group" at The Burlesque Hall of Fame Weekender. While she’s at home you can find her dancing or hosting at such illustrious venues as the Slipper Room, Bathtub Gin, and NYC’s oldest running burlesque festival, Le Scandal Cabaret.

The Great Burlesque Exposition supports and funds the American Burlesque Collection, a unique museum that explores the history of The Art of the Tease and profiles its practitioners. The event is three days of spectacular community-building, shows, education, special events,and shopping. The Great Burlesque Exposition is produced by The Professional Burlesque Society, a registered 501(c)3 non-profit founded in 2007.
