The Rhinestone Revue stars our Howard Award Winners from 2015: Sailor St. Claire (Best Soloist); Gala Delicious (Most Beautiful); Mika Romantic (Most Classic); Cherie Nuit (Most Humorous); and Kiki Allure (Best Hybrid).
The showcase also sparkles with our Guests of Honor!
Please note:
Late night on Friday, we present burlesque in a more intimate setting. Our Bordello has the silky feel of small cabaret, with tables just inches from the stage. A buffet of late night snacks is included with your admission price and there's a cash bar for your cocktails.
The Bordello features sizzling showgirl Red Hot Annie, blowing our way from the Windy City of Chicago. Founder and femme fatale of Vaudezilla, this titian tressed temptress really make the weiners boil!
In between sets, take to the dance floor yourself as our fabulous DJ spins some tunes to get your toes tapping and your feet flying!
Please note:Learn how to create a sexy and spectacular visual using moving fabric. Fabric is a versatile tool used in many dance styles and the techniques taught here can be applied to capes, wings of Isis, veils, wrap skirts, dusters... almost any big piece of fabric! Any dancer can learn how to easily use yards of fabric to create a wonderful, effortless look. Gabriella Maze will review what fabrics work best and how these props are constructed.
Please come dressed for movement (this is a movement class) and bring what you have be that a cape or wings or a duster. If none of those is available to you, you can bring a sheet! The class concludes with a Q&A session in which you can get a private sneak preview of Gabriella's interview on Saturday at noon!

Our good friend Bill has a remarkable collection of vintage lingerie from the 1940s to 1960s.
On Saturday, Feb. 6 a carefully curated selection of his items will be on display in the Exhibit Hall near our Costume Exhibit. This mini-museum includes foundation garments of all sorts, plus related ephemera like advertisements and catalogs.
On Sunday, Feb, 7 the collection comes to life at 12:30 p.m. with a fashion show of vintage and historic pieces on the stage of the Exhibit Hall!
We are looking for models!. Because there are a limited number of historic pieces, and because they are of specific sizes, models are going to need to go for a fitting in Waltham prior to the event. For more information, contact the organizer, Bill.
Enjoy an oasis of gentility to re-charge your batteries as we approach the end of another great BurlExpo!
Snack on tiny tea cakes and cucumber sandwiches while sipping burlesque-inspired teas courtesy of our sponsorJacqueline Hyde!
Our Sunday Showcase is two shows in one!
The evening sparkles with the talents of rising stars, those performers who are relatively new to the burlesque stage. For the most part, these are people who have been bumping and grinding for three years or less — some of whom are making their festival debut! In and around these talented men and women, are the weird and wonderful members of The Sideshow Ball — singers, jugglers, comedians, tap dancers, and more!
